Thuparamaya Stupa is one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist stupas in Sri Lanka, located in the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Believed to be the first stupa constructed in Sri Lanka after the introduction of Buddhism in the 3rd century BCE, it holds a significant place in the island’s Buddhist history. Anuradhapura is belongs to the North Central Province in to Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Lankan civilization.
