Another traditional Ayurvedic blend which is mainly used for joint support, vata balance ( one of the three doshas in Ayurveda which is responsible for catabolic processes) as well as relief from arthritis/rheumatic pain. This Ayurvedic formulation which is built around Guggul (Commiphora wightii), also known as the Indian bdellium tree is combined with the goodness of Triphala and a few more warming herbs which helps to pacify the Vata dosha and reduce stiffness of joints.
Ingredients: Indian bdellium tree / Guggulu (Commiphora wightii), Triphala which includes Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), and Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula), along with Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Black pepper (Piper nigrum), Long pepper (Piper longum).
Side Effects: gastrointestinal upset, allergic reactions, Guggulu can interact with medications and may not be suitable in pregnancy or for people with certain medical conditions.
