Ukwattage Lada Pas Mal is a small ceremonial package that is mainly used in auspicious occasions in Sri Lanka, such as Buddhist weddings with Poruwa Ceremonies, Bodhi Pooja (veneration of the Bo Tree), first word ceremonies of small children and similar rituals carried out to invoke blessings.
The ingredients of Ukwattage Lada Pas Mal include E thana (Heteropogon contortus), pop corn, ela aba, white rice and dried jasmine flowers which have been carefully packed and sealed, so that you can use it during these special occasions. This is considered pure and spiritually significant in old Sri Lankan traditions which are still passed on from generation to generation.
